#2: If you have the messenger installed open it. Underneath the Yahoo logo (top left) click "messenger" -%26gt; preferences -%26gt; alerts and sounds. Go to the choice box (on the right side), click "enable" -%26gt; click "I receive a message in my Yahoo Mail" -%26gt; choose the sound you want to hear (or click the box "display box dialogue"). How did I manage to get someone else's email address beside my email address ?
Up at the top of the page where it states who sent the email, it has someone else's email (yes I know who she is) along with mine.

u mean someone has hacked your e-mail and sending spam to everyone...if so then you should scan your computer with AVG, Spybot Search %26amp; Destroy, etc. cuz its most likely you have a virus or someone has just guessed your password and pretending to be you
or your e-mail continues to receive spam?
then go to your account settings and choose the option of sending spam to your spam folder

Reply:Your email address must have been copied from some website you might have joined, and from the way things are going, it looks hard to stop it now that there's someone out there who uses your info, so I suggest you better sign up for another email address and refrain from giving it out unless it's really important.
