How to block spam that clones my own email address?

I keep getting spam that says it comes from my own email address, but when I look at the full headers it's really from someone else. Is there any way to prevent this?

My brother set up barnaby_kettle as his email address and ended up finding it really embarrassing a little down the track, it's fine for when you're at school or uni but that's it.





On a professional level I don't expect to see anything but professional addresses including first and last names or I just assume it's spam or a 17 year old!
