In my email account, already received messages are also repeatedly getting downloaded everytime. how to stop?

In my Sancharnet email account the previously downloaded mails are also getting downloaded everytime when I send and receive messages. This is happening from 13-05-2008 onwards. What I have to do to stop the repeated downloading of received messages?

What is your email client? Outlook Express has an option to download new messages only. Other clients must have similar options. Another option is to NOT leave downloaded messages on the server.
Reply:I am not familiar with this system but you can change the downloading method to have it only come when you hit receive messages. Hit tools and search around, I would be more helpful but do not know how your system is set up. It is in there somewhere, you just have to locate it.
