I am looking for a free program that I can download that will offer spam guard for my email address?
My email address does not offer this feature, and I am getting way too many solicitations.

You would need to use a 3rd party program to take advantage of a spam guard. If you are using a 3rd party program, then it probably has one built into it.

I want to close the old account and transfer the content in my email folders, the contacts in my address book and my current unread emails to my new yahoo account. I have already announced my new account to all who write to me. Is there a free way to forward messages delivered to the old account to my new account? Thanks.

In terms of your folders and messages, each email can only be forwarded individually...sorry. To move your address book, follow these steps:
In your mail click OPTIONS. In the Yahoo Beta Mail on the side bar should be a link called CONTACT OPTIONS (in the old interface it is called ADDRESS BOOK). Click that then click IMPORT %26amp; EXPORT. You then have a few options as to how to export the file. Click the appropriate one (in this case Yahoo.csv) and export. It will prompt you to save it on your computer.
If you are importing into Yahoo, just go back to the same screen in the new account. Choose which type of file to import, choose its location from where it was previously saved and click IMPORT NOW. Your contacts have now been added to the new Yahoo account.

If you are importing into Yahoo, just go back to the same screen in the new account. Choose which type of file to import, choose its location from where it was previously saved and click IMPORT NOW. Your contacts have now been added to the new Yahoo account.

Insert the flash card, click start, then My Computer. Open the drive that contains the flash drive. Go to the email, select forward. High light the email by holding down the left mouse key and dragging the cursor over the email. Right click on the email and select copy. You need to change your "From" and that will fix your problem.
Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page.
Under “Management”, click General Preferences.

No it does not work that way. Once the songs/movies/ any files are downloaded they are on that computer they are not connected to your limewire but on the computer itself. Just like if you signed on and checked email downloaded it via Outlook from your server on one computer it will not download to another computer using outlook. Thanks

If you buy Kaspersky at a store like Wal Mart or Office Depot there will be a activation key with the disk. Just run the disk and follow the prompts.

will then send your license key by email.....this is the reason
and nothing to do with promotions or updates as said above.

new email address specifically for these occasions.

Occasionally I have problems accessing Yahoo from work due to our server blocking, I have set up automatic forwarding but I understand that if I do that, I won't be able to pick up emails at home unless I go through my workplace server.

Every email I get on my Yahoo account will not automatically show the picture. I have to "download it" to see it. Can anyone help?

How do you download my email to a flashdrive?
Insert the flash card, click start, then My Computer. Open the drive that contains the flash drive. Go to the email, select forward. High light the email by holding down the left mouse key and dragging the cursor over the email. Right click on the email and select copy. Go to the open flash drive folder and right click the mouse key and select paste. a copy of your email should be there. You can now remove the flash card or add more.

You have to use the "bcc" option (blind carbon copy), it only requires one valid send-to mail address, the rest can be blind. So just enter your own mail address for the one required...:-)

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. you had to register another email in order to activate a yahoo account. contact yahoo using that email information and your secret question and they will send you the info you need. contact customer support.... failing that i would suggest u simply activate a new account. good luck

I have uploaded a mhtml file of about 9meg onto an email and when I go to send it I get a message via Internet Explorer "Error Sending Message". My email has been used to purchase LD phone cards. What else can I do besides change everything?
I got a credit for the card itself, but can't get credit for the calls placed. First I was notified by a company that one of their employees sold their consumer info to a data broker, who in-turn sold sub-sets to direct marketing and gaming industry organizations. This is the 1st time something's happened, but I HAVE to open a new Yahoo account since I can't CLOSE my email. I would like comments on what I have decided to do, and if anyone knows of something easier, please advise! I am disabled, live on fixed income and can't afford premium services.
The only way I can see to fix this is to:
Open a new Yahoo account;
E-mail my address book (friends) new addy;
Change addy on vendor/business accts;
E-mail my saved messages to new addy;
Print out address book and manually input into new addy;
Post automatic reply reminding initial addy closed WITHOUT giving new addy; and
Pray for the best!

How do I keep my main email address the same when sending in outlook XP?
I have had the same email adress for the last 8 years or so %26amp; do not want to change it. However, I would like to change my current broadband supplier to someone cheaper like Talk Talk for example.
How do I configure my Outlook XP to send my emails under my current email adrees rather than a talk talk email which will only confuse everyone and likely end up in peoples junk mailbox as spam?
I am sure that you can do it - I just can't work out how!

Your best bet is to use an email client. you can set it up to get mail from yahoo through an SMTP or POP server. this will allow you to email, as well, and since it comes with the office suite it lets you use the resources of MS office.

If my outlook express is running when I go to a yahoo page, can they collect the email accounts in that outlook express program, and then sell it to spam senders?
