How can I stop all the junk/spam email I get. Should I change my email address?

i get on average of 200 spams a day but it goes into my bulk folder and i just select delete and its gone, if you decide to change your address it would take alot of sending change of address notices so thats why i just delete it once a day,

Reply:what u should actually do is create a new mail address and then use the existing one 4 all the junk stuff and the new one 4 ur personal use

Reply:spam will always be there...but then again, if your current email address does not have "protection" from spam then you should consider getting those with junk email folders just so that you don't have to clear your junk mail so often..
Reply:It is better if get so many hundreds and thousands of spams. But it is not required if you use microsoft outlook as your POP mail client and zone alarm internet security suite for firewall and anti spam filter. This will help you to separate those junk/spam emails to get into your inbox.
Reply:No....! You need to see that all undesired mails are checked and transferredintothe spam folder and you still, you change your account settings and untick all undesired subscriptions for certain information newsletters.
