New email address. The safest thing to do is get a new Yahoo! address and contact Yahoo! about deleting your old one. If you don't know who the person is (not family or friend that knows your password) stop using the account immediately. Make copies of everything you need, write down your address book, and move to a new address. Your account has been comprimised, and there's no way to stop it.
Reply:You can change your password. When you do this make sure the password is one that only you know. Avoid writing down your password and/or saving it on computers other than your own.

Reply:This is called spoofing your email address.


It does not mean that they have your password. They simply make the emails LOOK like they come from you.


I suggest changing email addresses.
Reply:Change your password and don't tell anyone your new one. Change your security question and answer too. By changing these no one should be able to use your account anymore.

Reply:First of all tell your banker that your e-mail account has been compromised. Then change the password of your old account and get a new account with a secure password (capital and lowercase letters and numbers). You should be set after that.
