"I own a couple of KeyKatchers to monitor my teenage kids and they work great. They record everything that is typed and there is no way to know one is attached unless you look in the back of the computer. Unlike software keyloggers, they don't use any system resources, so they don't slow down your PC. They also can't be discovered or removed by anti-spyware. I also like that I don't have to be concerned about them spying on ME and sending information back to the software publisher!

The best deal I have seen is at LakeshoreTechnology but the price seems to have dropped recently and they are a great value pretty much anywhere you get them.
Reply:Why not just ask him for his email account password. If yr son is in trouble and he doesn't want to give it to you, your treading serious waters because he is finding you intrusive, and will turn rebellious. Once he gives it to you, he can always change it again and again.

On the internet they do have software programs for parent control. Usually that is for internet use. Far as email accounts, I really don't know. How old is your son? And what sort of trouble is he in?
Reply:Ask them if they'll give you their passwords. I would honestly rather delete my account than have my mother read it, so give them that option. Don't read it without their permission, then you're just doing it for your curiosity and it's an invasion of privacy.
Reply:You dont. Because the kids ALWAYS know. and the second they do, they're gonna hate you for life. So dont do it.
Reply:Good question, I am coming back to see how everyone answered it.
